I recently had the opportunity to photograph the Executive Directors and Advisory Counsel for a local Women’s Business Networking group here in Pensacola. They each come from unique walks of life, but have joined forces to promote women in business. This project reinforced to me the value of having an excellent “headshot.” Today we have such vast amounts of mass-media and commercial advertising blasting us with image after image…and local businesses compete with the “big boys” for everyone’s attention. There is little in the advertising world that can go as far as having excellent imagery, and having your Executive Portrait, rather than a bland “headshot” can be crucial to building a local presence in the business community and as you compete for community awareness for your business or service.
So, as we approach a new calendar year and each business is considering marketing plans and investments in internal growth, consider setting aside money for a good Executive Portrait. A well constructed portrait collection will have at least 2 images, and in full color and black/white formats, along with a resized Social Networking size so that when used on Facebook, Twitter, etc…the image will retain the high quality at which it was captured.
Congratulations, ladies of the Powerful Women of the Gulf Coast networking group. You are beautiful, and have beautiful…professional images that will stand up against any of your national competitors!
